How To Install TWRP On Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL

Google Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL was recently launched by Google and they have been receiving a lot of positive reviews from both the critics and the users. Even though there were some minor bumps on the way like the display burn-in and some software issues, Google has managed to deliver an awesome device with one of the highest rated cameras ever.

While the stock Android experience of Google and the promise to provide official software updates at least for the next 2 years sound good, some people might want to root their device or install a custom ROM to explore new possibilities. Rooting your device might give you access to some additional features like overclocking to improve the performance or removing system apps to save memory or disabling them to improve the battery life.

You can also install custom ROMs via custom recoveries like TWRP or CWM if you wish to customize various aspects of your phone or just update your device with the latest security patches before the official update arrives. So, the first step to do all these is to install a custom recovery on your Google Pixel 2 or the Pixel 2 XL. Here is how to do it.
